Forest school: a Green Revolution?
Writing your first name with sticks, studying the names of plants, learning colors from flowers, improving motor skills by climbing trees, but most of all discovering the wealth and beauty of nature in order to protect it in the future – this is the promise of the "école buissonnière".
Located in the heart of the Ile de Ré, near the Grenettes beach, this unusual school has just opened its doors to children from the age of two, for three years of preschool. It is one of the twenty « forest schools » that have been created in France this year, a sign of a true green revolution in education.
The film follows children, parents and educators over the course of a school year, to introduce the general public to this educational and ecological outdoor adventure.
