LA FÊTE DE LA LIBERTÉ
« La Fête de la Liberté » is an original musical show hosted by Daphné Bürki. It is inspired by the music album « Jours de Gloire » (Pias) composed by Sébastien Boudria, a 37-years old music teacher from Clichy-la-Garenne and Colombes’ music schools. The show unites notorious artists supporting a strong message : our values, our desire to live together, our freedoms.
Over twenty artists – including Patrick Bruel, ZAZ, François Cluzet, Camélia Jordana, Yseult, Tryo and Sofiane Pamart – perform founding texts of our common History. From Olympe de Gouge’s « Déclaration des droits de la femme » to Albert Camus’ « Lettre à monsieur Germain », to Victor Schoelcher’s « Discours sur l’abolition de l’esclavage » and Victor Hugo’s « La Misère »…
Iconic popular French songs also animate the show, such as « Résiste », « Né quelque part » or « Laissez-moi danser », which resonate with our values.
Performances take turns like scenes, led by children chorus and classic, contemporary and urban choregraphies (Opéra de Paris, Bertholet Sisters, Medhi Kerchouche…). Citizens adhering to contemporary struggles also express themselves, punctuating the whole show.
Born from different generations and origins, these artists, comedians, singers and dancers unite at the Bataclan for freedom, tolerance, women’s rights, solidarity… These values are our common good and resonate today more than ever.
